KCAL Old Time Radio

KCAL are the call letters of the mythical radio station of the Creative Art League of Jessamine County.  The KCAL troupe performs re-enactments of old radio shows from the golden age of radio. Playing in front of a live audience these re-enactments are performed much as the original was done back in the 1940s-50s.  Comedy, drama, mystery--KCAL will bring it all to you in a manner that transports you from the 21st century to a radio broadcasting studio in the mid 20th century.  These performances are held one weekend each quarter at the Polvino Family Art Center, 109 S. Main in Nicholasville. Our next performance is our "Halloween Fright Night" on Friday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, September 30 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 1 at 2:30 pm.  Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the box office at 859-885-5363. Tickets are limited to 55 per show. All proceeds benefit the Creative Art League. Thanks to our corporate sponsor of the show, the R.J. Corman Railroad Group and Zaxby's of Nicholasville!
