KCAL Old Time Radio

The KCAL stage
The December 2016 KCAL performance

KCAL are the call letters of the mythical radio station operated by the Creative Art League of Jessamine County.  The twenty plus members of this ensemble acting troupe present quarterly performances of re-enactments of old time radio shows as they would have been performed and broadcast in the golden age of radio.  Playing before a live audience, the KCAL Old Time Radio troupe has performed Fibber McGee and Molly, Dick Tracy, Life of Riley, and many other wonderful old time radio scripts.  You will actually feel transported back in time as you both view the re-enactment and also participate by laughing, sighing, screaming on cue--just as the live audiences did when the shows were originally broadcast.  You will leave the 21st century behind and journey back in time to the 1940s-50s for each performance.
