Carolyn Threlkeld and Dennis Smith star in A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters", a production of CAL Community Theatre. Directed by Caroline Denise Teater Cline, this play centers on two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III.
The Creative Art League is currently organizing craft weekends for 2018. These weekends will feature a full schedule of half-day craft workshops. Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of workshops and can take as many as 4 workshops per day. We are currently seeking craft instructors who may be interested in teaching a workshop during these weekends. If interested, or if you know someone who may be, email CALJessamine@gmail.com.
The Fourth Annual Jingle Bell Jamboree will showcase the Christmas art of our Jessamine County elementary students. The exhibit will be open Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 10:00-3:00 at the Polvino Family Art Center, 109 S. Main St., Nicholasville, Kentucky. Drop by for cookies and hot chocolate and get in the Christmas spirit by seeing all this great art.
Registration is now open for JCAL--Junior Creative Art League--our popular Sunday afternoon art classes for children ages 6-11. These classes are taught by Staci Goggins and Hope Soch, two of Jessamine County's certified art teachers. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged. The fee for the entire semester is $150 which includes all art supplies. The final session is an exibit in our gallery of the children's art done during that semester.
